Cole Favro, Patient’s request for pizza in hospital window gets results.
A note on a window, written on a whim, got a Churchville-Chili senior more than a dozen pizzas delivered to his room at Golisano Children’s Hospital.
18-year-old Cole Favro has cystic fibrosis. He goes to the hospital for treatments every two weeks.
He’s about to move to the adult side, but wanted to see if he could get pizzas delivered before he left. So, he got some window paint and wrote a note.
“I just wanted to see if people could see it from the street and if we could get some pizza up here,” said Favro. “I thought it would be really fun and share it with the nurses and see what would happen.”
As of Saturday night, 15 pizzas have been delivered to Favro.
